Prepare a Questionnaire:
- Ask questions to your existing customers,staffs,your friends,your well-wishers about your business and the problems it intends to solve.
- A comprehensive data is thus collected and check for similarities, commonalities and differences in them.
Form a character or Persona:
- From the above data,try to form various personas or characters which are actually your would be customers with different age groups,gender,locations,qualification,profession,etc..
Make sure you have well defined personas:
- If you need to research again from step 1 to gain some clarity,you can do so.It is actually a good idea to clear any doubts.
- So now you have your target customers profile from the data collected by you.With this,you will have a rough idea to whom your business caters right now.
